24.01.2008.ABN AMRO signed licence agreement on Belgrade Stock Exchange BELEX15 index
After the first licence sold in June of 2007, on Junuary 24th 2008. Belgrade Stock Exchange signed a licence agreement with ABN AMRO Bank N.V., for the index of most liquid Serbian stocks, the BELEX15.
Based on this licence agreement, ABN AMRO will have the possibility to create certificates and other structured products based on BELEX15 index. ABN AMRO is an international bank incorporated in the Netherlands, with 4,500 branches in 53 countries. It ranks eighth in Europe and 12th in the world based on total assets, with Asset Management that manages around 211 billion Euros.
This licence agreement will help introduce the Serbian capital market to the broader investment public, and serve as the good example for other financial institutions in possibilities that Serbian capital market can offer.
