Trading at the Belgrade Stock Exchange is carried out by broker-dealer companies – members of the Exchange. Exchange membership is regulated by the Law on the Market of Securities and Other Financial Instruments, Exchange Articles of Association, Rules of Business Operation and other Exchange rules and regulations.
A member of the Exchange may be a legal entity registered for performing activities of a broker-dealer company, who fulfills the conditions prescribed by articles 87. and 88. of the Law on the Market of Securities and Other Financial Instruments and the Articles of Association of the Exchange.
The number of Exchange members is not limited.
An Exchange member may through a licenced broker buy and sell market material for which it obtained a licence, i.e. approval of the supervisory body and resolution of the Exchange Board of Directors.
