International Cooperation

The Belgrade Stock Exchange pays special attention to international cooperation, an area increasingly improtant due to the global process of reconsolidation and integration. In view of the fact that borders between particular markets are being removed for both individual and professional investors, there is an ever growing need to atain and maintain the competitive edge on the global level.   

The activities of the Belgrade Stock Exchange concerning international cooperation are twofold. For the purpose of increasing its presence and visibility, the Exchange strives to build a recognizable image, as a unique corporate brand  built on the global standards in stock exchange operations. At the same time, in order to improve the performance and quality of the operational process, the Exchange pays great attention to adoption and implementation of the best solutions in the stock exchange industry.

The Belgrade Stock Exchange participates  in a number of regional and international projects and programs aimed at improving the quality of the capital market. Its active presence in leading international associations confirms the quality of both organizational and legislative standards on which the Exchange business is based. The Belgrade Stock Exchange is a:
- full member of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS)
- associate member of Federation of European Exchanges (FESE) and
- associate member of World Federation of Exchanges (WFE).

Regional cooperation is based on bilateral cooperation agreements and joint projects with regional exchanges, the most important being the Memorandum on Partnership with stock exchanges from South-East Europe – Ljubljana, Zagreb, Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Montenegro, NEX Montenegro and Skopje stock exchanges.

Significant importance is attached to cooperation with media representatives, who are inreasingly interested in the events on the Belgrade Stock Exchange. Regular communication is maintained through distribution of reports, announcements and news. The representatives of foreign media are also increasingly interested in the entire Serbian capital market, as well as in particular investment, consultant and analytical companies, which systematically follow and analyze daily changes in prices, turnover, indices, capitalization and other market parameters.
