Miodrag Kostic

President of the MK Group, Belgrade

Miodrag Kostić, the president of MK Group, was born on August 25th, 1959. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the department of Information Technology in 1983. Upon graduation, he started his journey into the world of private entrepreneurship - a journey that has been a very successful one for the past 30 years. MK Group is business system which currently consists of 35 companies and employs more than 4,500 workers in Serbia and Ukraine, and is one of the companies that form the backbone of the domestic economy. Today MK Group, based in Belgrade, is one of the largest and most successful business systems in the country and is a leader in the agricultural industry and the sugar industry in Serbia. In addition to these primary areas of business, MK Group also operates in the field of meat processing and renewable energy sources that are continually devoloping by constant investments and improvements. Other business areas of MK Group are financial and IT services, real estate, tourism and others. As a highly versatile person, Miodrag Kostić has proven his knowledge and skills through participation in the work of management boards of some of the largest and most successful banks in Serbia, as well as the owner of the most famous brokerage house in the region. He is the president of the Management Board of AIK Bank, a member of the employers association "Poslodavac", the President of the "Privrednik" club and the "Serbian-Belarus business council,'' apart from membership in numerous local and international business associations.

Goran Pitic

Goran Pitic, Ph.D.

Professor and Council President of the FEFA, President of the Board of Directors of Societe Generale Serbia

Dr Goran Pitić is a Professor of Macroeconomics and Council President of the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration (FEFA), and President of the Board of Directors of Societe Generale Serbia. He is a Member of the Board of Metalac Holding Gornji Milanovac. Dr Pitić holds a PhD from the Faculty of Economics, Belgrade University and two MA degrees – from the Belgrade Faculty of Economics, and from the University of Toronto, Department of Economics. He specialized in Economics (postgraduate program in Quantitative Development Economics) at the University of Warwick, Great Britain in 1991/92. He also received advanced training at the London School of Economics, and participated in a number of specialized programs at universities in France and USA, and attended courses at financial market institutes. From October 2000 to March 2004, he held the position of the Minister of International Economic Relations in the first democratic Government of the Republic of Serbia. He is Vice-President of the Foreign Investment Council in Serbia and Member of the Presidency of the Serbian Economists Association, member of the Association of Corporate Directors, Member of the Board of Directors of the Serbian Banking Association and Member of the Board of BEMUS- Belgrade Music Festival. He has coauthored five books, and published many articles in national and foreign publications. Dr Pitić speaks three foreign languages (English, French and Spanish) in addition to native Serbian language.

Dragijana Radonjic Petrovic

Dragijana Radonjic Petrovic

Dragijana Radonjić Petrović joined Broker-dealer company M&V Investments in 1997 from Belgrade Discount Centre where she worked as a broker since 1995. Shortly after joining the company, she became the General Manager making the company a leader in the domestic capital market. M&V Investments is one of the leading broker-dealer for many years with highest turnover and number of transactions with securities in Serbia. She has advised a wide range of domestic and international companies in their approach to the capital market. From April 2010 to August 2012 she was the State Secretary responsible for regional development and entrepreneurship promotion in the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, and after she was appointed Special Advisor to the Minister in the Ministry of Finance and Economy, in charge of entrepreneurship and competitiveness and as such initiated preparation of programs and laws for strengthening these areas. She has been a coordinator of the team experts that successfully managed the last three processes of Eurobond issue. Ms. Petrovic participated as a speaker on many conferences and been member of many Working groups organized in order to improve domestic market. From August 2013 she is a Chairperson of the Board of M&V Investments, one of the founders of MD Solution, consulting company as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Belgrade Stock Exchange. She is a Vice President of Serbian Association of Economists, a member of Business Club “PRIVREDNIK” and UKDS (Association of Corporate Directors of Serbia).

Managing Director, Head of International ECM & Equity-linked, Banca IMI - Part of Intesa Sanpaolo Group

Karim Makki is running Banca IMI’s ECM International & Equity-Linked team based in London and New-York. Banca IMI - the Investment Banking arm of Intesa Sanpaolo Group – operates in the areas of Investment Banking, Capital Markets and Structured Finance, through offices in Milan, London and Hong Kong and New York. The Bank has developed a solid expertise and a significant track record in equity capital markets. This year-to-date Banca IMI ECM team lead managed 30 equity and equity-linked offerings across Europe, including landmark issues for STMicroelectronics, Deutsche Bank, Pirelli, London Stock Exchange, Peugeot, Salini Impregilo among others. In the last months Banca IMI acted as Global Coordinator & Joint Bookrunner in the IPOs of Fincantieri €351m, Cerved €428m, Anima €796m. Prior to joining Banca IMI in 2013, Karim worked at UniCredit where he built the Equity-Linked Capital Markets franchise and at Lehman Brothers in European Equity Capital Markets, both out of London. During his 16 years in investment banking, Karim contributed to a number of landmark equity and equity-linked issues across EMEA. Prior to Lehman Brothers, he worked at BNP Paribas and Credit Lyonnais Investment Banking advising Governments and State owned companies across Emerging Europe and Africa on their privatizations. Karim holds a MSc in Finance and Banking from Paris Dauphine University and a MSc in Economics.

Tommaso Ferrari has more than 14 years of working experience in Investment Banking. He joined Banca IMI in 2011 with a focus on the execution of ECM mandates, having been involved in several of the transactions completed by the team. Throughout his career he has gained significant expertise in the execution of IPOs having worked on more than 20. Prior to Banca IMI, he worked at UBS and Mediobanca, out of London and Milan. Ljiljana Zipovski

Director of the Authorized Bank at Banca Intesa Beograd

Ljiljana Zipovski has worked in Banca Intesa ad Beograd since 2006. She worked as the Head of Asset and Liability Management, as well as the supervisor of the Section for Analysis of Financial Markets. She is a founder and Vice President of ALM Committee within the Association of Serbian Banks. As a head of authorized bank since 2011 she is responsible for broker dealer operations. She started her professional career at the Central Bank, the National Bank of Serbia, in 1997 where she worked for ten years, first as a dealer in the Department of Foreign Reserves Management, and then at the Department of Dinar Exchange Rate Policy and Domestic Foreign Exchange Market. She took part and also was a head of many projects created by the Central Bank. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade and finished master studies in 2007. Currently she is a PhD student preparing her PhD thesis. She is a visiting lecturer at state and private universities. She has published academic and professional articles in economics, banking and financial markets in domestic and international journals.

Natasa Marjanovic

Natasa Marjanovic, CFA

She was born on December 7, 1978 in Belgrade. She graduated from the Economics School with an average grade 9.81. She started her carrier in 2001 in the Department of Foreign Currency Reserves Management of the National Bank of Serbia, where she soon became the youngest dealer/portfolio manager in the history of NBS. She managed the securities portfolio, which makes the major part of the NBS foreign currency reserves. In August 2005 she became a Treasury Manager at Piraeus Bank a.d. Beograd, where she was in charge of the establishment and organisation of the modern Treasury. She joined Generali in September 2006 as the first Portfolio Manager in the first voluntary pension fund in Serbia. Since the beginning of 2007 she is at the head of Generali Voluntary Pension Fund. Since 2011 she is responsible for asset management for all companies in the Generali Osiguranje (Insurance, Reinsurance and companies in Montenegro). She is President of the Investment Committee of the Generali Osiguranje. In 2005. she gain a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a highly estimated professional certification offered by the American CFA Institute, and the first Portfolio Manager licence issued by the Securities Commission. Simultaneously with her regular activities, she worked as an assistant at the Economics School and teaches in specialised courses for CFA exams.

Snezana Ristanovic

Snezana Ristanovic

Director of Raiffeisen FUTURE, Belgrade

Snežana Ristanović is managing director of Raiffeisen Future a.d. Voluntary Pension Fund Management Company. She finished elementary and high school in Cacak, and graduated at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade. Ms. Ristanović has began her professional career in the insurance industry with “Kolos” Insurance Company in 1996. as the executive director of the insurance acquisition. In 2002. she had moved to “Dunav TBI” a.d. Insurance Company and had taken part in the founding of the first pension insurance company in Serbia. Ms. Ristanović has joined Raiffeisen Group in 2006, as the managing director of Raiffeisen Future VPF Management Company and has been successfully leading the company for over nine years. She has been actively participating in revising and improving of the pension funds legislation in Serbia as well as in Republika Srpska, where she also was a member of the working group for drafting the Law on Voluntary Pension Funds. Her greatest contribution to the industrial development of voluntary pension funds is reflected in the positive tax treatment of supplementary pension contributions in Serbia. Ms. Ristanović is the president of the Supervisory Board of the Serbian Association of Economists.

Dinko Novoselec

Dinko Novoselec, CFA

President of the Management Board of the Allianz ZB d.o.o. company for managing obligatory pension fund

He was born in Bjelovar in 1968, obtained a BA in mathematics at College for natural science and Mathematics in Zagreb. In 1997 he started working for Hrvatska Narodna Banka on assignments related to managing foreign currency reserves. At the end of 1998 he moves to Zagrebacka banka to the position of Leader of analytical department, and mid-way through 2000 he moves to ZB Invest, an association for managing investment funds. He is there in the capacity of Management member. In September 2001 he joined the Allianz ZB Company for managing the AZ obligatory pension fund and in April 2003 was promoted to the position of Managing director of the Allianz ZB. In 2000 he obtained the title of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) programme organised by the American association of investment professionals – ICFA.

Jure Klepec

Jure Klepec is the CEO of the Ilirika Belgrade fund management company. He held several positions as portfolio manager executive director and member of supervisory board in several financial institutions in Slovenia. He was member of the management board of Medvešek Pušnik stock brokerage house d.d., Executive director of Alta Invest d.d. He headed or was part of the teams that advised to important international clients in several important mergers, takeovers and other corporate finance transactions in Slovenia.
