Tony Verheijen

Tony Verheijen

World Bank, Country Manager, Serbia

Based in Belgrade since August 2013, Tony Verheijen returned to the World Bank’s Europe and Central Asia region after having previously worked for the Public Sector Management and Governance department in the same region from 2002-2006.
From 2007-2013, Mr. Verheijen served as Sector Manager of the Public Sector and Governance department in South Asia (based in New Delhi, India) and as Lead Public Sector Management Specialist and Cluster Leader for East and Central Africa (based in Kampala, Uganda). At the World Bank since 2002, Mr. Verheijen has focused on public sector management, civil service reform, governance and anti-corruption, and economic management issues.
He has worked on projects in South and East Asia, Central and East Africa, Russia and Central Asia and Central and Eastern Europe.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Mr. Verheijen worked as Chief Technical Adviser for the UNDP Regional Office in Bratislava, Slovakia, for the OECD and for the European Institute of Public Administration. He has also held teaching and research positions at various universities, including the College of Europe. He has contributed in particular to transformation processes in Central and Eastern European states in the context of their EU accession, serving as adviser to European Integration offices and EU accession negotiation teams.
Mr. Verheijen graduated from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, holds an MA in International Relations from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a PhD from Leiden University.

Vladimir Vučković

Professor at the Faculty of International Economics at the Megatrend University in Belgrade, where he teaches a group of courses in finance and international economics. He got his bachelors, masters and PhD in Economics from University of Belgrade. Author of more than 70 papers and co-author of a textbook. He was a member of the editorial board of Monthly analysis and prognosis and Quarterly monitor and Macroeconomic analysis and trends. Since January 2011 he is chief editor of Macroeconomic Analysis and Trends (MAT). Vladimir Vučković is associate member of the Scientific Society of Economists. He participated in numerous projects and researches, supported by the federal government, the Serbian government, republican ministries, the National Bank of Serbia, the European Agency for Reconstruction and other national and international organizations. He was an economic advisor to the Policy and legal advice center, the EU project under the European Agency for Reconstruction in Serbia.

Aleksandar Vlahovic

Aleksandar Vlahović began his career as a management consultant at the Economics Institute in 1987 upon graduation from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. In 1992 he was appointed Managing Director of the Consulting division. In 1995, Mr. Vlahović joined Deloitte & Touche as a consultant and in 1999 became an equity partner of Deloitte Touche Central Europe. In July 2000 he became the Office Managing Partner for DT Yugoslavia, and was named Lead Valuation Partner for the Balkans zone countries. He is specialized in providing financial advisory and M&A services in accordance with international applied standards. From 2001 to March 2004 Aleksandar Vlahović was the Minister of the Economy and Privatization in the first democratic government of Serbia, appointed by the Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić. During his term of office, numerous important reform statutes were prepared and adopted, of which the principal one was the Privatization Law. By the end of his mandate, more than 1,300 companies were successfully privatized throughout Serbia. From April 2004 to May 2012 he was a Democratic Party representative in the Serbian Parliament, a member of the Committee for International Economic Cooperation, and Head of the Serbian Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PA BSEC).
In 2004, Mr. Vlahović founded EKI Investment, an investment company. Since October 2011 he was the President of the Managing Committee of the Economics Institute of Belgrade, the oldest think tank and consulting firm in Serbia (founded in 1947). He held the position until September 2014. Nowadays, he is the president and owner of the investment consulting company Belgrad Capital Group (BCG).
In December 2011 he assumed the position of the President of the Serbian Association of Economists. He is a Vice-President of the Managing Board of Erste Bank and also a member of the Supervisory Board of Wiener Städtische Insurance.
Mr. Vlahović was a member of the Serbian Business Club “Privrednik” (2005-2014), as well as the Board of Directors of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce (2006-2014).
He also serves as Vice-President of the Volleyball Association of Serbia on a voluntary basis.

Dragoljub Vukadinovic

Metalac a.d, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Metalac Group, President

Dragoljub Vukadinovic graduated from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, and before joining the company Metalac Gornji Milanovac, he worked as an engineer in the Copper Mill Sevojno and Zeljezara Sisak. Professional engagement of Mr. Vukadinovic in Metalac runs since 1975, where he first worked at the positions of Chief of Production, Chief of Technology, Chief Engineer for enamelling in the enamelling, decoration and packaging plant, Manager of the Finishing Operations Section, Chief Engineer – Technologist of enamelling and laboratories, over the position of the Director of Production from 1985, to the position of Managing Director since 1989. At 2005 he became President of the Metalac Holding, position he retained until 2012, when he became President of the Metalac Group and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Metalac a.d., which are the positions he still holds today.
During the last decade Mr. Vukadinovic also performed following duties: President of the Association of Joint Stock Companies in Serbia, President of the Kraljevo Chamber of Commerce, President of the Entrepreneurs Club of Gornji Milanovac. He was a member of the management boards of several banks, insurance companies, labour organizations and chambers of commerce, and is currently a member of the Serbian Business Club "Businessman" and the Association of Corporate Directors of Serbia.
During his career Dragoljub Vukadinovic was three times proclaimed Manager of the Year, in 2003 in the election of the Club of Economic Journalists of Serbia; 2001 in the selection of Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and in 1999 in the election of the Chamber of Commerce of Yugoslavia. He was also awarded by Serbian Chamber of Commerce for 2011 and by Serbian Association of Economists for business results in 2011, and received great number of sports and social recognitions.

Director, Public Debt Administration, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia

Branko Drcelic graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Belgrade University.
He has been director of the Public Debt Administration at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia since January 2012. He has responsibility for the management of the Republic of Serbia public debt.
Prior to joining the Public Debt Administration, he was Deputy Treasurer at the Treasury Administration - Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia from 2009 to 2011.
He started his career at the Public Debt Unit in the Ministry of Finance and Economy in 2003. From 2005 until 2009, he worked in the Electric Power Industry of Serbia, Delta Generali Insurance, Atos Consulting Ltd., ABS Minel and Safege doo.

Ana Jovanovic started her career in Investbanka, where she held different professional and managerial positions. She finished an international banking specialization at the Barclays Bank in London. She practiced as a lawyer in the areas of banking and corporate law and financial consulting. During her university career as a professor at the Megatrend University and the University Union - Nikola Tesla in Belgrade she taught a group of finance courses including the course on the Financial Markets. At the Geographical Institute "Jovan Cvijic" SASA she worked as a research associate. As a financial expert and senior consultant she was involved in many international projects of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at the Ministry of Finance mainly working on the harmonization of national legislation with the EU law as well as on the regulatory reform of the Serbian capital market. Ana participates in projects of the Ministry of Science. She is the author of numerous scientific papers and monographs in the field of finance. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the European Central Securities Depositories Association (ECSDA) and representative of the Serbian CSD at the General Meeting of the Association of National Numerical Agencies (ANNA).

Henri started his capital market career in 1990 when he drafted the design of Finnish Clearing and CSD system while working in a Finnish consulting company TT-Innovation. Prior to this he worked in IT development and as an IT management consultant. During his career he holded following positions: Chairman of the Board of NASDAQ OMX Armenian Exchange and CSD starting from 2011 and earlier member of the board from 2008 and Board member and minority shareholder in small Finnish IT company Prime Solutions Oy focusing mainly in Health Care and Oil Industry. He was also member of Supervisory Board of Lithuanian CSD and Lithuanian Stock Exchange, Supervisory Board of Latvian CSD and Baltic Management Board (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania). Henri is a member of Federation of East-Asian Stock Exchanges. He is a former Management Committee member of Federation of European Stock Exchanges as well as member and chairman of special focus working groups of the European CSD Association (ECSDA). Further Henri has served as a member of World Federation of Exchanges Inspection Team in many countries.

Mr. Milojevic has a very long and rich experience as an University profesor, where he has been teaching Microeconomics and Managerial Finance. He has been managing various reasearch projects, financed by verious sources. As a consultant he is focused on evaluation for financial reporting purposes. He is a passionate researcher in the field of financial reporting regulation, therefore the majority of his written texts and public lectures are concentrated thereon. During the process of privatization in Serbia he had been leading various privatization programs. Miroslav is the founder and the editor of AUDITOR, the journal that is dealing with the complex issues of financial reporting.

Milos Mladenovic

Miloš Mladenović has graduated in Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 1995 at University of Belgrade. He joined EPS in 1998, working in the fields of real-time System Operation, System Planning and XB Market. After the establishment of the Serbian TSO (EMS), starting from 2005 he has played important role in the emerging process of the electricity sector unbundling and liberalization of the national electricity market, participated as a technical expert, task leader and project manager in several local and international projects related to the implementation of legal, regulatory and technical framework for the establishment and further development of the Serbian electricity market. In 2008 he becomes the Assistant General Manager for System and Market operation in EMS, taking responsibility over the System operation tasks and Electricity Market development and administration tasks performed by the Serbian TSO. In 2010 he was appointed as the Executive Manager for System and Market operation in EMS, performing executive management role for all System and Market operation issues. In 2012 he has started to work as a Director for International and Regulatory Affairs, at the same time performing the role of the ENTSO-E Board member and the Convenor of the ENTSO-E Regional group for SEE. Since July 2015 he works as a Managing Director of SEEPEX (South East European Power Exchange).
With comprehensive regional and European experience, as the member of the ENTSO-E Board and ENTSO-E Market Committee, as well as the chairmen of the SEE RG within ENTSO-E MC, he becomes one of the key players in the process of the SEE Electricity Market integration and EU Target Model implementation in the SEE region. Moreover, his knowledge and experience in the System operation and Grid planning and development issues, as well as comprehensive understanding of obstacles and opportunities for Regional Market establishment on both national and regional level, make valuable contribution to the ENSTO-E efforts in the creation of the single pan-European market, including SEE region as his integral part.
